contraband. Tossed. Not lost.
With this collection I aim to shed light on the overlooked souls of women who have been incarcerated due to the grips of addiction. These individuals are worthy of love and support, despite society’s judgement and fear born from misunderstanding. Through my own experiences, I’ve come to understand the importance of extending compassion to those deemed unworthy. My art serves as a beacon of hope for those considered “tossed” by society, showing that we are not lost. Each exhibit I create is a step towards challenging societal norms and showcasing the beauty in those who have been cast aside.
